I am enjoying the James Moffatt Bible very much. At times the King James is hard for me to understand. The James Moffatt has been a big help to understanding Gods word.

I enjoy reading the Moffatt Bible because of his unique translation abilities. His understanding of the original languages comes through with the usage of English words that you would only find after a personal word search. An example would be the use of the word "bliss" where you find the word "joy" in most translations. Bliss in most cases is much more definitive than just joy. After reading the Moffatt you can understand why the KJVers of that era would have a problem with this easy to read easy to understand translation.
