I am incredibly perplexed and entirely astonished that anyone would take the time and effort to write 168 page book on this issue..... Pointless.

P.S. The Greek word used for wine in John 2 is "oinon." In 1 Peter 4:3 Peter uses the same root word when he writes "For the time that is passed suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness (oinophlygiais), orgies, and lawless idolatry." So really according to this book, Peter is saying, to not drink grape juice like those heathen Gentiles, correct?

There is nothing that floors me more than when people twist scripture to try and defend their own unbiblical religious preferences. Think of all the trees that were murdered in the cause of this ridiculous book.

Thank you for letting me rant! And to all my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ.....,CHEERS!!!!! :)

Put very simply, this is not a work of scholarship.

This is knowing your bias and working very hard to confirm it.

I should have known better than to read it based on how biased the title was.

There was never any intention in the author's mind to present a clear and fair view of all sides in the discussion.

I'll leave a quote to think about:

"Do not suppose that abuses are eliminated by destroying the object which is abused. Men can go wrong with wine and women. Shall we then prohibit and abolish women?" --Martin Luther
