Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath-day. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all that thou hast to do; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. In it thou shalt do no manner of work, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, thy man-servant, and thy maidservant, thy cattle, and the stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it.

LMIGHTY and everlasting God, we are taught by thy holy Word that the hearts of Kings are in thy rule and governance, and that thou dost dispose and turn them as it seemeth best to thy godly wisdom: We humbly beseech thee so to dispose and govern the heart of CHARLES thy servant, our King and Governour, that in all his thoughts, words, and works, he may ever seek thy honour and glory, and study to preserve thy people committed to his charge, in wealth, peace, and godliness; Grant this, O merciful Father, for thy dear Son's sake, Jesus Christ our Lord. I

BELIEVE in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And of all things visible and invisible :

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, Begotten of his Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of very God, Begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; By whom all things were made: Who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven; And was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary; And was made man; And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; And the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures; And ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father; And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead; Whose kingdom shall have no end.

And I believe in the Holy Ghost; The Lord and Giver of life; Who proceedeth from the Father and the Son; Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; Who spake by the prophets. And I believe one Catholic and Apostolic Church; I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; And I look for the Resurrection of the dead; And the life of the world to come. Amen.

Immediately after the Collects, the Presbyter shall read the Epistle, saying thus: The Epistle written in the Chapter of at the Verse. And when he hath done, he shall say; Here endeth the Epistle. And the Epistle ended, the Gospel shall be read, the Presbyter saying; The holy Gospel is written in the Chapter of at the Verse. And then the people all standing up shall say; Glory be to thee, O Lord. At the end of the Gospel, the
