W W HERE AS the General A fembly have in their present Session passed an Ad to prohibit the Council, or the major part of them, on Penalty of forfeiting One Hundred Pounds, to be paid by the Maker ; and the like Penalty of One Hundred Pounds to be paid by the owner or Owners of cuery such ship or Vessel departing as aforesaid : AND WHEREAS Provision is made in laid A&, that His Majesty's Council, or the major Part of them, shall, if they see fit, leogthen out the said Embargo ta the First Day of June next ; @ have therefore thought fit, in Council, to tlue this proclamation ; hereby giving pubkm fotice of the aforesaid ad of Governineat ; and Ärialy forbidhing all sparers or owners of any ships or Wessels within the province to suffer any such Ships or Weliels, without special permillion from his majesty's Council of the inajo.
