s Stalker (1848???1927) was one of Scotland's most renowned preachers. Stalker served as pastor of St. Brycedale's in Kirkcaldy for thirteen years, as pastor of St. Matthew's in Glasgow for fifteen years, and as professor of church history at the United Free Church College of Aberdeen for twenty-four years. Stalker was a widely known scholar who lectured at various institutions, including Yale, Louisville Baptist Seminary, and Richmond Presbyterian Seminary. In addition to his many writings on Christ, Stalker's works include The Life of Paul, The Preacher and His Models, The Seven Deadly Sins, The Seven Cardinal Virtues, Christian Psychology, Beauty of the Bible, and Men and Morals.
