The Committee on Synodical Minutes, reported, and their Report was accepted, and is as follows: "The Committee on Synodical Minutes, report "That they have examined the Minutes of the last General Synod, and the Minutes of the Particular Synods of New York and Albany, and find nothing requiring the attention of this Synod. Respectfully submitted. THOMAS M. STRONG, Chairman." The Committee on Overtures, submitted the following Report, which was accepted : "The Committee on Overtures, report "That nothing has come before them, claiming the attention of Synod. THOMAS G. SMITH, Chairman." The following Report of the Board of Superintendents of Rutgers' College, was received, and referred to the Committee on the Profes sorate. "The Board of Superintendents of Rutgers' College, are happy to be able to report to Synod, that the College continues fully to realize the hopes of its friends, and is advancing in prosperity and usefulness. "The present number of regular students, is 64; of whom, 18 belong to the Senior, 22 to the Junior, 19 to the Sophomore, and 5 to the Freshman Class. " General health has prevailed in the Institution. Professor Nelson, however, is now only convalescing; having been seriously indisposed. Mr. Mulligan, the able instructer of the Grammar School, is, in the mean time, attending to the Classical Department in College. Cases of delinquency, during the past year, have occurred, and, in a few instances, the Faculty have found themselves under the painful necessity |
