"Hallelujah" is an uplifting collection of Christian poetry written by first time author Carol Cox. It was written to inspire and encourage its reader. The book links heartwarming poetry with passages of scripture, allowing the reader to become more familiar with the word of God. Scripture in which each poem is based is listed directly after the poem (as well as listed by subject), in hopes that the reader may study and seek a more personal relationship with God. A stirring composition intended to bring hope, strength, and joy to all who read it. The author, Carol Cox, a former bio-medical research assistant, who discovered she had kidney disease at the age of 21, found strength and hope in the word of God. Currently a dialysis patient, she now works as an internet math tutor and is a loyal servant of God. She serves as Sunday School superintendent and teacher of her church, assistant to the youth department, volunteer tutor, and is a member of the local community mission society.
