This is a surprisingly excellent book. It appears to have been written in the 1800s. It is factual and scripturally based. It offers reflections and insights on biblical events. It is enjoyable and educational. It is easy to understand. There are a few words that may help build vocabulary at the same time.

An excellent book worthy of all Christian readers. It is simple enough for an ordinary believer and profound enough for the most experienced and learned saint. Beautifully and succinctly phrased observations of the historical passages of the Bible. Full of practical observation.
