They contain the continuation of the Cadwallader Colden Papers, being Volume III 1743-1747, and Volume IV 1748-1754 each volume having an analytical index. The Colden Papers which cover the period 1714-1775 came into the possession of the Society by gift on October 5, 1852, from the late Ogden Hoffman, grandson of Cadwallader Colden. January 23, 1922. |
