EXTRACTS.

At a Yearly Meeting of Friends, held in Philadelphia, by adjournments, from the eighteenth of the Fourth Month to the twenty-second of the same, inclusive, 1910.

Reports were received from all of the Quarterly Meetings, and the Representatives from those meetings, upon being called, were all present except four, for the absence of three of whom reasons were given.

The Minutes of the Meeting for Sufferings for the past year were read. Besides giving attention to various other interests, that body has carefully revised our Book of Discipline, except that part directly relating to marriage; a synopsis of the most important changes, and of the new matter introduced, was read. The proceedings of the Representative Meeting were approved, and much appreciation of its labors was expressed.

It was agreed that the report on the revision of our Rules of Discipline be submitted to the Women's Meeting for their consideration.

A Committee was appointed to audit the accounts of our Treasurer, to examine the securities in his possession belonging to this Meeting, and to propose a sum to be raised for the use of the Meeting the present year.

The Representatives were desired to confer together at the rise of this Meeting, and to propose to our next sitting, Friends to serve as Clerk and Assistant Clerk to the Meeting the present year.
