The One Hundred and Twenty-fourth Annual Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Pennsylvania assembled by appointment at IO A. M. this day in the Church of St. Luke and the Epiphany, Philadelphia.

The Communion office was begun by the Bishop Coadjutor of the Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Alexander Mackay-Smith, D.D., the Rt. Rev. O. W. Whitaker, D.D., LL.D., reading the Gospel.

The sermon was preached by the Rev. Herman L. Duhring, D.D., from St. Luke, chapter 14, verses 16, 17, 18, 21 and 23.

The Holy Communion was administered by the Bishop Coadjutor of the Diocese, assisted by the Rt. Rev. O. W. Whitaker, D.D., LL.D., the Rev. D. M. Steele, the Rev. Herman L. Duhring, D.D., and the Rev. Philip J. Steinmetz, Jr.
