That Same Persistent Chase: A Journey Into Christianity

What goes through the mind of someone who has spent forty years or more pursuing the occult, investigating New Age thinking, and or generally resisting the message of Jesus Christ, when he can no longer keep running from the Hound of Heaven?

That Same Persistent Chase records some of the thoughts that led to this change, and some thoughts that have come along since. It is a book about the "beauty and wonder of His death and resurrection," about grace and mercy. "I am not a believer in so-called 'channeling'," says this new Christian, "but I wake up at 3 a.m. with a 'sermon' or essay going on in my head and have no hope of sleeping again until I get up and write it down. I believe my Lord is telling me things, and I had better share them."

That Same Persistent Chase is both religious and anti-religious. It assumes that a committed Christian will be associated with a church, but warns that mere church membership does not constitute membership in the Kingdom of God. Regarding much of religion today, the book poses the question, "When did Jesus ask for that?"
