SIAM.

Nos. 1 to 15 belong to the early coinage of Siam, before the introduction of modern minting apparatus and the adoption of the western form of coin, in the reign of King Mongkut, A. D. 1851-1868. These pieces are almost round and seem to have been put into that form by taking a short round ingot and bending the ends together. Each specimen has two small incused types on the back and on side.
