Excellent source of information on the German immigrants to Guatemala and their insertion into the Alta Verapaz region of the northern part of Guatemala. This book offers a very good history and genealogy of the Germans in Guatemala during the bottom half of the XIX and first half of XX Century.
Any Guatemala looking for their German roots will find this text extremely useful. Unfortunately, only 1000 copies of this book were printed. The book seems to have been mostly distributed in the Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala. There seem to be under 10 copies in the United States.
